Notes on Calcium Deficiency in Plants
Calcium is a macronutient.
- Symptoms:
- Hook Shapes on new leaves, or distorted leaves/fruits. Growing tip may die, especially on cabbage. Blossom end rot in tomatoes. shriveled fruit.
- Sources:
- Calcium Nitrate 19% calcium, 15% nitrate from greenhouse supplier
- Notes:
- Can inhibit other nutrients. Generally not toxic to fish.
